"Everything was cooked perfectly and when I called to see if I could get some special changes (need extra gravy, ranch due to radiation having made it difficult to eat/chew well w/o the "wet" ingredients) and w/out me even sharing the why, the employee who took the call, Julissa, was wonderful, pleasant, no need for an explanation as she just wanted to please the customer, and she read back my request to confirm w/o me asking her to which was also exemplary on her part. Julissa was very lovely, kind, professional , customer service oriented woman who represents you very well Ihop. Even how she answered the call was picture perfect. She took care of it all no problem and was so pleasant that we have ordered again a few x now to suooort her and the Ihop she represents cuz when people go out of their way to treat you well, you want to suooort them and the establishment they work for in ANY field (food service, airlines, hotels, etc.). Also of note, this Ihop always packs the food items so carefully every single time and that, too, is appreciated. Our food has always been great whether breakfast, lunch or dinner options. "Cheesy Sticks are very tasty and very well portioned (and great with the 2-for 1 special). The test were made, and the cheese is the perfect amount of stringiness.
Jalapeño Poppers were really pretty good, I would have liked them gooier on the inside, but they were pretty decent (most places are awful - especially by the time they arrive at your house).
The Chocolate Mousse dessert was terrible - and it looks very different in the DoorDash photos. I was very disappointed in the chocolate mousse . I couldn't even choke down half of it, because it tasted far too sweet (the whipped cream tasted awfully sweet as well - good whipped cream should not taste sweet). The last thing you want is a combination of a syrupy sweet chocolate mousse topped with an insanely sweet whipped cream on top. I felt sick after eating a bite . The worst part of it was that the chocolate mousse is the ONE item I ordered the entire order for.
The ranch Dipping Sauce was pretty good, most restaurant ranch dressing taste like runny sweet store-bought garbage. The ranch was worth the $.75. The Pesto Dipping Sauce looked runny and far from a basil pesto looking, but I'll taste it tomorrow and update my review if I can. I would order other from them again , and I try other hot items, but not desserts."
