"Some of the cookies are killer, while some are meh...several ones with a thick layer of frosting have been way too sweet, bordering on inedible without scraping it off. Hard pass on the ice cream. The chunks are nonexistent, and it's the price of premium ice cream without the premium quality. I'd rather eat almost any brand from the grocery store instead.
I placed a pick up order through Doordash, and aside from using my Doordash promo code, it was pointless. I was totally ignored by staff when I was at the pick up counter, and consequently had to wait in line behind everyone else who was ordering at the store. More often than not, it’s missing from my order even though I’m charged for it. It’s happened enough times that I’ve finally decided I just won’t add it anymore for takeout, which is disappointing because it really does elevate the burrito when it’s actually included.
One area that could really use improvement is packaging. I order pretty regularly from the Bay View store, and the bags are often unsealed, sometimes arrive open, and the small stopper for the lid is only included occasionally which results in spills. Colectivo could be inspired by Nomad's to-go packaging which exceeds expectations."
