"I have to say how impressed I am with my Denny's order. When this particular Denny's opened and it transferred from being, I think it was a Mexican restaurant to a Denny's, I was so excited to have a Denny's because the other one across the street had been in bad shape for years and then they finally just closed and bulldozed it down so we didn't have a Denny's for a while. Well, now we have two. We have this one on Hopyard Road, which is great, and there's a new more modern but smaller Denny's near the outlet malls on the other side of the street and I've eaten in there and it's equally great.
I have always enjoyed Denny's their Moons Over My Hammy sandwich is great and of course I love the name. The Super Bird® bird has been a staple on Denny's menus since I was a kid. I really love those. And I also ordered their Country-Fried Steak Dinner. I was able to try a little bit from all three and I was really afraid of ordering because when it first opened, it was terrible. It was blatantly obvious that the cooks could not care less, and if your order was right or wrong, who cares? If your order came out cold or inappropriately, greasy, or just plain wrong, again, it was who cares? The young male supervisor at that time, or manager I guess, I spoke to him and he was nice but resolving the problem was not what I wished it would be. And again, I don't want to be pinpointing the wrong person, this was when it first opened the one on Hopyard. This is within its first month. And I thought to myself wow I'm so excited to have a Denny's restaurant in town again but I'm not returning because this was a disaster. But after several years, I finally decided to try it again and having DoorDash deliver is great but it's hit and miss in the middle of the night, which is when I ordered it. The driver passed Denny's four times and drove in circles between Dublin and Pleasanton. It was weird.
At any rate, this Denny's, thank goodness, proved themselves to be worthy of being called Denny's, which has always been known for great food served quickly, and just the way you ordered it at a reasonable price. Because I ordered through DoorDash it was over $100 including tip, but it was a luxury so I knew it would be expensive. I guess just to wrap this up, I would say that this Denny's is back! I wouldn't hesitate from ordering from them now."

"So the fried chicken drumsticks is the only thing worth getting here....but it is really good. Decided to order the whole friend chicken and you'd think that the chickec would have a body size that's reflective of the size of the drumsticks that are served. But it's not. It's the size of a cornish game hen and you get 1/2 the meat (at best) that you'd get if you simply got a 1/2 order of drumsticks...and it it was overcooked and dry as hell. The amount of coleslaw you get for the price is deplorable. The noodles are meh and the rice cake w/sausage is nothing special.
Get the chicken drumsticks, it'll be some of the best you've ever had. From now on, that's all I'll order."

Everything was extremely fresh and you could see the attention to detail everywhere - including the fresh slaw on the sandwich, the housemade pickles, and the very fresh bread. Same with the dessert - as soon as I opened the package it was so obvious how fresh it was just from the appearance and aroma. Also I had to mention how extremely generous the portions are! At the time of this review (3/31/26) it feels like everyone is cutting portions and jacking prices everywhere, but this place did just the opposite - tons of chips with the sandwich, they didn't skimp on the fish serving itself, and the cake serving as HUGE. I honestly do not understand how this location has the ratings it does because this was one of the worst restaurant delivery experiences I’ve had in a very long time, especially for a >$100 order.
This restaurant is literally one block away from me, and it took about an hour for the food to arrive.
When the food finally arrived, the order was missing the Pizookie entirely. The deep dish nachos were honestly embarrassing. Many of the chips were burnt nearly black, and for $19 there were barely any toppings at all. There was no guacamole, no salsa, and no sour cream. The toppings that did exist were scattered over the top few chips, while the rest of the container was basically just burnt chips with almost nothing on them.
The chicken broccoli Alfredo came with what appeared to be a single broccoli stem, not even actual broccoli florets, and a few slices of chicken. The Parmesan crusted chicken was also missing the lemon sauce, the bottom of the container look partially melted like it was sitting near or on a heating element.
How a restaurant can display multiple quality control failures across almost every item in the order is impressive. To add insult to injury the response to the incomplete and poor-quality order was a $33 credit or the option to wait another hour for replacement food. That is an absurd resolution considering the amount of money spent and the I condition the food arrived in."
