"The carne asada tacos were really good. Very small but you can't expect much for $3. They do use a lot of meat which compensates for the size. Bought one taco of carnitas to see how they tasted but the meat looked like it was sitting around for a long time and was very tough. Their orange chili is great and any taco is meaningless without a great salsa. It made my taco surpass the standard taco flavor. One last thing I hate to add in but they are extremely bad on the amount of onion and cilantro they put on their tacos. You would think they would cheat you on the protein since it's more expensive than onion and cilantro but this stuff makes the taco and I don't like a taco without an abundance of both! Finally the strawberry horchata, never had one before but I know what regular horchata is. I must say it was very tasty with a great flavor that tasted healthy. Although when I got to the end of the drink it started getting gritty but overall yes, I would order it again. A choice companion to accent the carne asada tacos! "I dont know if it's the "Tuesday" chef, but everything I got was mediocre at best.
I usually get the Ultimate Fish and Chips, and I'm always excited to see that big piece of fish, but it just was not good. The batter, which is usually light and crispy, was thick and chewy, the inside of the batter where the fish is was just uncooked. The batter was like a thick piece of fabric. It came off the fish in one piece and FOLDED. The batter pulled away from the fish as soon as I cut it. The fish inside was fine. I ate that on its own. Can I also say that while we got a couple of little containers of tartar sauce for the fish, they were only halfway filled. Not enough for the fish.
The Shepherds Pie, which is usually pretty good, was a bit tinny, very metallic in taste. For the price of this dish, it was not done well—as well as I have had it here in the past.
Buffalo wings were good. No problem there.
Salad was good as well.
All in all, for spending over $100 for dinner, I don't think I got my money's worth.
I'll be taking a break from you, St Stephen's Green. I'm very disappointed.

I don't like being taken by unscrupulous restaurants. I won't order here again and suggest you use caution with this restaurant! "
