"I dont know if it's the "Tuesday" chef, but everything I got was mediocre at best.
I usually get the Ultimate Fish and Chips, and I'm always excited to see that big piece of fish, but it just was not good. The batter, which is usually light and crispy, was thick and chewy, the inside of the batter where the fish is was just uncooked. The batter was like a thick piece of fabric. It came off the fish in one piece and FOLDED. The batter pulled away from the fish as soon as I cut it. The fish inside was fine. I ate that on its own. Can I also say that while we got a couple of little containers of tartar sauce for the fish, they were only halfway filled. Not enough for the fish.
The Shepherds Pie, which is usually pretty good, was a bit tinny, very metallic in taste. For the price of this dish, it was not done well—as well as I have had it here in the past.
Buffalo wings were good. No problem there.
Salad was good as well.
All in all, for spending over $100 for dinner, I don't think I got my money's worth.
I'll be taking a break from you, St Stephen's Green. I'm very disappointed.

I don't like being taken by unscrupulous restaurants. I won't order here again and suggest you use caution with this restaurant! "

"The carne asada tacos were really good. Very small but you can't expect much for $3. They do use a lot of meat which compensates for the size. Bought one taco of carnitas to see how they tasted but the meat looked like it was sitting around for a long time and was very tough. One last thing I hate to add in but they are extremely bad on the amount of onion and cilantro they put on their tacos. You would think they would cheat you on the protein since it's more expensive than onion and cilantro but this stuff makes the taco and I don't like a taco without an abundance of both! "For the price it's not worth the quality. The Fish and Chips left a lot to be desired. Hard to tell what what fish and what was fries. The fish was so small and not worth it doordashed. Not sure if I got some random left over or if that is the size they give you. The lemon and celery were in the bag which was weird and the food was just a bit overpriced for what you get. We have gone at the restaurant and enjoyed our experience but door dashing late probably isn't worth it. You can tell they make their stuff fresh which is nice and props to them but quality getting it delivered left more to be desired."
