The platter came with a generous portion of saffron rice. The adas rice was rice cooked with lentils and a couple raisins (I think). The adas rice was savory with a bit of a tangy sweet touch. With the lentils, it had a softer consistency than the saffron rice, which had more bite to it. Both were terrific and great even on their own, without the meat. The 1. Homemade Hummus and 9. Shirazi salad were also amazing. I have to get these sides every time- they're done really well and hit the spot. They really add to the overall flavors of the meal."

Usually, haitian restaurants make two separate legumes, like one seafood and another with beef or pork. Making the food spicy doesn't make the food taste better. Haitian food has natural flavors with or without the spices. This is a good restaurant but every time I go there, unfortunately there's an issue with food or timing. 20 minutes turns into 55 minutes, for an order you called before getting to the restaurant. Hope you all do better because your restaurant has a lot of potential in a community that has become more diverse and populated with more haitian people over the past couple of months."
