Classic burrito is huge and super tasty. Tacos are delicious and have a nice flavor combo. The burrito is a great value, I could order and eat all day. Taco Tuesday makes the order an awesome value as well.

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from this place. Great reviews, pictures looked fantastic. However the reality was unfortunately a disappointment. I will say that they have the right idea, just poor execution. My Carne Fresco Taco would probably have been beautiful in the restaurant, but the meat still would have been bland tasting. The star of the taco is the meat and this left much to be desired. Choosing white corn for their tortillas and having the only other option be flour instead of yellow corn is an interesting choice as well. The Carnitas Taco was the opposite, they did well in execution of the pork, tender and relatively flavorful, it was a welcome change. However, the rest of the taco was weak in comparison, the mango habanero has a very mild flavor if any flavor at all. I could not taste mangoes and I could not taste habaneros, just a slight sweet taste with absolutely no spice. I would also like to mention that the portion of carnitas was incredibly small, maybe 1-2oz at most per taco. The Salsa Ranchera and the Salsa Verde were both incredibly watery and it's not like I was looking for a pico, but some texture would be nice. The flavor of the salsa verde was decent, the Salsa Ranchera however was just a mess of overpowering chipotle pepper flavor. You could taste little else within that salsa and that was a huge disappointment as I ordered two 8oz containers of each gambiing I'd be able to enjoy them later as well. Star of the show was the Mexica Street Corn by a long shot, but unfortunately arrived cold. However, I ate every last bit of it and enjoyed every moment, I'm surely not shy about it some cold elote. They do a spicy mayo over the top that is the right combination of tangy and creamy, mixed with the cotija cheese really gives a good experience. All in all, skip this place for a taqueria if youre looking for an authentic Mexican experience, at least until they change some stuff up.

we had the beef vegetarian tacos,deep fried cauliflower nachos and Mexican coke. We were 1st time order. We were shocked at quality of food..however albeit a wee bit small...with great flavor and fresh! Had never heard of Canteen before so was worth the try and money. BTW..we weren't sure if we would get a dasher as we placed order around 7pm forgetting KAMALA Harris was in town. Order went through no problem..dasher and all..as we were clear across town and still got food,warm ready to eat..Yay on both ends. Great Job CANTEEN...FOOD WAS GOOD AND WORTH IT.THANK YOU.

Street corn was delicious! Liked the tacos alright, but was surprised how small they were for $9. The churros with chocolate sauce were also a big hit, and in contrast I was surprised by how many there were for the price

I personally felt like there was only rice in my Classic Burrito but it was still good. $4 for what seems like an 8oz soda was depressing. But their Queso Dip & Chips? My favorite!!!
