• 5/1/24First off, this should be labeled a ghost kitchen inside Denny's.
The El Desvelado burrito is filled with 70% potatoes and very little meat and avocado. For the price of a potato burrito with a little meat, this is way overpriced. The chips were not even properly cooked with some white spots on them because someone didn't move the chips around much when they fried them. Burrito wasn't horrible but was also a little bland. There are so many better choices out there for a cheaper price.

• 7/3/24As a regular, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a hearty meal. The meat/potatoes are cooked to perfection, but the meat could be better seasoned. I was a bit disappointed with the El Desvelado burrito's lack of flavor, but the ingredients did fill me up nicely and I didn't feel too bloated after eating. If I could improve anything with this restaurant, I would make the slight change of seasoning the meat in the El Desvelado; a change that would bolster my rating to a 5. I honestly think that they don't even bother adding even the slightest bit of salt, the carne asada just tastes like pure grill. The only thing that brings the flavor profile together are the sauces which are really good. And better yet, some people may enjoy less sodium. Apart from that, portion sizes are great and the sides are pretty good with the exeption of some stale chips here and there which I generally expect from places like this. As far as authenticity, I'm not Mexican, but this place doesn't strike me as the most traditional of spots. Overall, I find eating here an overwhelmingly decent experiece. Places like this have always been a guilty pleasure of mine, when I'm just hungry and looking for some decent grub. I know what I'm getting every time and other mexican spots can be inconsistent.

• 5/1/24This restaurant should be taken off the list of locations. I ordered a carne asada El Desvelado Combo. I got no chips nor queso. I paid for an extra side of hot sauce and got a ketchup packet of hot sauce for 99 cents. The Coke that came with it had about 3/4's of a cup of soda. The burrito was a mess of grilled sliced meat, yes grilled sliced meat and chunks of blackened fatty pork squares. They don't mention they put potatoes in it. It took getting half way thru to get to two razor thin slices or avocado. Run. I think it's operated by Denny's by what the receipt showed..

• 1/18/26These burritos are nasty! Soggy potatoes, barely any meat--and flavorless meat. Will NOT eat here again, wasted money.
