The food was absolutely fantastic. We were ordering for a group of about a dozen people and this is a small place/kitchen - so wait time was not accurate in the app (took almost 45 min longer) BUT if you keep that in mind when ordering for a group you will not be sad about the tender savory meat, flavorful sauces and sides, hearty veg, etc. Everyone loved it. Also great and well-labeled GF options.

Have eaten here a few times and I never leave disappointed!The arepas are always delicious.I especially love the Arepa Benedict. The portions are generous and it's always served hot and fresh. Only downside can be the small indoor dining space during the colder months when it's busy!

So delicious! The chicken is so tender! Sauce on top is not overpowering or spicy, just adds the perfect extra flavor. Love the rice and beans to mix with the chicken and you can't go wrong with the arepas or yucca fries as a second side choice. Both so good!

i love café racer food, it's consistently fantastic.
ordering delivery is unfortunately a much better experience right now than going in person, as they have overly-strict covid policies that make it very uncomfortable to be there even for pickup. i hope this will change soon, as i used to love dining in as well.
but damn, their food.....
the only menu item i have had that was not delicious and beautifully textured is their veggie side (maybe only on breakfast menu). the vegetables taste fine, but are overly cooked (stewed?) and end up being a vaguely vegetable flavored pile of mush.
TRY ALL THE OTHER THINGS!! the arepas are incredible, the breakfast is one of my favorite in the city. dinner plates are perfect. don't be deceived by the small amount of menu options, it's a quality over quantity kind of place.
it's simple, delicious, flavorful, well-prepared arepa heaven.

The pulled pork was tender and juicy with just the right amount of fat globs for optimum flavor and the arepas were still crispy upon delivery. Such good food at Cafe Racer! Try their brunch items too :)
