I ordered the drumette chicken dinner with mac and cheese and green beans as the sides. I cannot put into words how flavorful and wholesome this meal was. The mac and cheese is literally unlike any other I've ever had. Pairs so well with a little zing from the green beans. The chicken was cooked to perfection and so crispy on the outside. Definitely a go-to for me from now on. SO good!!!

The Whole Chicken Wings Dinner was hands-down one of the best meals I’ve had in years! It instantly transported me back to my grandma’s kitchen with its comforting, home-cooked goodness. The chicken wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked to crispy perfection, the mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the collard greens were tender and flavorful. Honestly, every bite felt like Michelin star-level quality. This place sets the standard for soul food—absolutely a must-try!

I've previously ordered from here before. The fried shrimp and fried gizzards are delish. The Mac and cheese is straight. It does have a slight tang to it. Almost gives a slight vinegar taste (just using as a reference point) but it's probably sharp cheese. I like it because it's not Kraft and you can tell it's homemade. I've ordered it twice before and it always tastes the same. Can't complain for $4. The Turkey bbq dinner I got tonight for $15.99 was not good. The Turkey seemed old and had a lot of skin and fat. I doused it in Tony Chats Creole and George's BBQ sauce. I still couldn't eat it. It is a dry Turkey bbq. No bbq sauce, vinegar sauce, nada. It looked grey. Zero flavor. I also ordered a Turkey bbq sandwich for my roommate. He expressed the same sentiments. He doused his in Buffalo sauce. The turnip greens were good. Not overly seasoned but you can definitely tell it was home cooked. I would give the Turkey bbq dinner a 7/10 because of the Mac n cheese, roll and greens. The strawberry cake was great. Great portion size for desserts and food.

Food was delicious! Fish dinner with collards rice and gravy was cooked to perfection. Sweet potato pie was very good. I will be ordering again to try different foods....5+ stars.

Was expecting more of a home cooked taste. Food was ok. Wings were very small and overcooked but I think they would have been good if not for that. Potato salad was very much store bought and tasted horrible potatoes were hard. shrimp was pretty good. All in aI think they have potential just not what we expected.
