There are no words for how perfect this food was. Incredibly comforting. Best greens I've had in the city. REAL cheese in the mac. Sweet corn bread that doesnt crumble. And the bark on those ribs is chocked full of snap and flavor. 100% will be back. With friends!!

I get the Weekly Special with collard greens and an extra side of Mac and cheese... mannnnn this the best you're going to get in this city. It ain't granny's cooking, but it's pretty d close! First restaurant ever in my life that the greens were actually hittin how they should! Mac and cheese fire, fried chicken/fish fire, rice and gravy fire, baked chicken fire, everything's goodddddd. And at a great price!

Delicious as always. Try the oven baked chicken yall. The fried chicken is good but the oven backed chicken feels like Thanksgiving. So delicious and comforting and it's so well cooked, even the bones are soft. It's Marie's 'soul' food for a reason.

I live in DFW, have lived in Houston, and visited New Orleans multiple time. The FRIED Chicken Meal and Catfish were excellent delivered and are as good as any I have ever eaten! Will always order when I'm in town. Sides very good too with lots to eat.

As a univeristy student it's hard to find good food that taste like home. But this is the best food Ive had yet while being away from home. The Baked Chic Meal was good- chicken was a bit salty but the rice balanced it out- and the mac and cheese... it's just like back home and it's just within my price range .
