The taste of the meat is what you're looking for when you order a gyro. "The 2 Pieces Fish & 5 Wings were cooked to perfection. My order arrived piping hot and on time as indicated. The portions were a nice size and as fresh as fresh could be. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and so flavorful too. The chicken wings were cooked just the way I liked. I ordered the spicy honey glazed but they were not spicy at all or at least not to my spicy heat tolerance. They were still very tasty. The Vegetable Fried Rice portion was enough to feed 4+ people but could have used a touch more seasoning. I still enjoyed it. Overall I would order again especially the flounder. Yummy! The Chicken Florentine Pasta does taste very good. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce is delicious. As with the chicken, I was expecting a bit more spinach and tomatoes in the dish.
I was also disappointed in the size of the Split Creek Greek Salad . For $11.00 I was expecting a larger salad, also wanting to share it. I had had a taco salad from a different restaurant this afternoon and was able to bring more than half of it home to share, at only $8.25, that being said, the components of the salad ARE delicious!
While the portion size was not what I was expecting, the food was good, overlooking the burnt areas on the coating of the chicken."
