"The eggroll sampler was not great tbh. For $19.99, it was small amount of food -- one small fried eggroll of each flavor - Southwest chicken, hamburger, avocado and chicken taquito . They were soggy and barely warm. In the restaurant , the Southwest ones are a favorite of ours. Will not ever order them for takeout again. The Thai salad wasn't ready when I arrived so I think the eggrolls must have sat for extra time and that didn't help. Was only 10 minutes from pick up to eating and
The temps weren't hot. The Thai chicken salad was tasty, but they say it will have "satay chicken" on it and there was a very small amount of very charred chicken, almost burnt. Not juicy like normal satay is and certainly not even 1/2 of a satay chicken order would normally include. Again, for the price, ($23) there was not enough protein. Maybe add some edamame if going to chintz on the chicken. The cheesecake was very good, though so that was nice :)"

"I eat and have eaten a lot of Greek and Mediterranean food. Now I only get it here. It's too good. The spice mixture they use here is so flavorful and aromatic it's my absolute favorite. The tiniest criticism is, I have had better pita bread but still it's bread and it's spectacular! The rice is perfect and you can feel each grain between your teeth with no clumpyness. Its outstanding taste profile stands on its own as a wonderful side dish. Red cabbage salad is so versatile I could put it on anything. Great portion sizes for my big eaters out there like myself!"

"Let me start by saying I know good Greek food, and this wasn't it. Nothing was good expect the actual flavor of the chicken schwarma, but even that was dry. The Falafel was dry and had too much flour, the tzatziki tasted like mayo and didn't even have cucumber, and the tahini was weird. I had the $2 Baklava which I knew would be small, but it was literally 1 square inch and had too much Filo dough . I posted a photo and you can see it's tiny! I had high hopes and was super disappointed!"

"I’ve ordered from here twice, but DoorDash doesn’t allow me to leave stars (I’d give them a 3 at this point). My first order was the Mediterranean omelette, salad and a hot matcha latte. Everything was fine. Today’s order was the Wagyu Moco Loco with another hot matcha latte, and it was awful — the beef patty was tough, dry and tasteless, and the rice was hard and chewy. The foam on the matcha latte was dark green, bitter and gritty, full of matcha vs milk. It tasted terrible. I couldn’t drink it past a couple sips. "

"Everything (except one item) on the Shaks Mezza platter was delicious, especially the Greek pickles, which were perfectly sour with a slight kick. The cucumbers were huge, and the veggies were all very fresh. I am so happy I found dolmathes that actually tasted right, and that were the right texture (firm w/ soft, but not mushy, rice filling & grape leaves that are malleable and soft). The platter was huge! I ordered it as a meal to share with my 5-year-old. We definitely didn't finish, so it might be helpful to have a couple of people who want to nibble on things.
All that said, I will say the baba ganoush was disappointing. I am a bit picky about my baba ganoush (I don't like a lot of seeds), so I was super excited that this baba ganoush had virtually no seeds and was a good texture. However, it tasted like it was made in a barn with the help of a goat. I don't know how else to explain it.
Overall, everything was great, so I'll order again, but will omit the baba ganoush."

"We love Ki's. if you have allergies, you can make a great affordable healthy dinner by combining their sides. The veggie stew is a great way to have a lot of different veggies at once, as well retaining the vitamin filled cooking liquid. We love their shrimp, much more affordable than most shrimp in Encinitas. The house dressing tastes like it has dairy, but last we checked it doesn't. Delicious. The people are great, only problem is that juices and smoothies often get left out. Dash refunds this(usually), but if you want it,you have to reorder. retip, and pay the fees again.
And dash is not refunding small items left off of orders. So, if you can, go pick up your order, and double check it before you leave. much of their food is 5 star, there is just this weird delivery glitch. We have loved this place for 25 years."
