Moist, flavorful, and not overly dry or soggy. No grains of rice stuck together. Pairs well with their beans too, which have a good consistency. The meat on the Aldo’s Platter was well cooked. Carnitas was the big surprise. Most carnitas I have had have chunks of fat that ruin the experience. This was moist but lean without chunks of fat. Tender and delicious chicken and steak as well. The gorditas are freshly made, generous with meat and cheese. The only thing I would change is the sour cream and vegetables—I would serve them on the side because reheated they don’t taste the same.
