"Green Papaya Salad (S) is everything I was hoping it would be. Fresh, crisp, bright flavors and such a good crunch. Dressing is SO GOOD- tangy and sweet, with only the tiniest, tiniest hint of spicy; not too saucy either, so the flavors of the papaya and carrots and such still come through beautifully; though it pools at the bottom so if you *do* want to just drink the rest of it at the end like the sweet nectar it is.. you can. HOWEVER their use of AI photos on Doordash is a complete misrepresentation and disappointing. If I had never eaten at Ks prior to ordering on DD, I would not trust the menu AT ALL.
My major callout is the Garlic Dip 4oz. The AI image does not do it justice, it makes it look watery, fake, and sad whereas in person (and paired with a great pizza) it's the best I have had in Ottawa, full of texture and flavor.
KS has quality food and a versatile menu with excellent portions and flavour, but is cutting corners when it comes to presentation in marketing.
