I decided to build my own sandwich and ordered a roast beef and turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch with everything. Picked it up to a friendly greeting and smiles from all of the staff. Took it home to eat and wow this was a huge sandwich and full of ingredients. Unfortunately I noticed quickly it was all turkey and no roast beef. They forgot my meat. I sure hope they get it right next time. I should say that even without my roast beef this was an incredible tasty sandwich. Every bite got better and better. I honestly can say I haven’t had a deli sandwich as good as this in a very long time. Probably the best Dutch crunch roll ever and so soft with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness on top. This sandwich was pure heaven and so big but I was hungry and wanted to go right back for another.

I ordered the thaali, right? Peering into the bag is like pulling out little trinket boxes, wondering what is in each. Something about the Bacon & Eggs, despite the simplicity, just makes us keep ordering it– everything seems to be prepared just right and it's a decent portion size.
We've had a few different crêpes and haven't been disappointed yet, but the Monkey Treat is our simple go-to. Also decently sized, and the crepe itself is just thick enough to not fall apart despite being stuffed full. "This place is TOO good!!!! My Mushroom Galette is the best that I've had outside of France - it was packed with flavor and I loved the Buckwheat option. The home fry potatoes on the side were seasoned perfectly. I had a side of Avocado and even that was perfect - ripe, no brown spots and beautifully presented. They even added small delicate touches like a sprinkle of chive on the Avocado! My Mocha was well-balanced and tasted exactly the way I wanted it. This was the best brunch I've had in a long time. "My pizza was delayed 3-4 times, and they didn't notify me. Also, I didn't receive the extra red sauce that I ordered on my pizza. For a $30 pizza, I expected some toppings on my pizza!!! It was horrible!!!

"I haven't been to Round Table in years! Literally years. When I moved to Pleasanton in 1997, my first pizza order was from this restaurant. I grew up on Round Table in the South Bay in Santa Clara County. It was THE BEST! Even going back to the early 80s when I was in high school, that was the place everybody went.
I expected the same thing here, at this Pleasanton Round Table since they are a chain. However, what I experienced were very in fresh ingredients, mistake in orders, and something that really bugged me; an older Asian lady always answered the phone and giving your order was an ordeal. "We no have pepperoni, we ran out". They were always saying the same predictable lines:
1) They're out of (fill in the blank)
2) They're closing early today because of (I'm working by myself, we have no drivers, the salad bar is already put away and the ovens are turned off, plus many more).
3) Anything you can make up
The store was always dirty. I couldn't believe the dichotomy between the one I'd always gone to with the freshest pizza, and this one that never had customers.
HOWEVER....there is good news! I tried R.T. Last month for the first time since the late 90s. And it's awesome! I've sampled several large items with repeat orders too check consistency. The verdict is in: they're back!! The pepperoni with extra cheese is so awesome. So is the garlic bread with cheese--- it's to die for. The fresh salad for one person is huge and comes "fully loaded" (but I request pulling the cucumbers out---not my favorite. And the lettuce is beautifully fresh. No wilted leaves or brown/black spots. The cinnamon twist desert things are very good, but be aware that they appear small on the R.T. website. In reality, they are HUGE. And delicious. If you're ordering pizza just for you and for leftovers the next day, just place one order for them. I think it's 2 per order, so I ordered 2 packs, which was four deserts. They're great! But it took me a week to finish them by keeping them in the fridge, then warming them up really fast in a toaster oven.
I definitely recommend this Round Table. Delivery is fast and the food is HOT!
