"Second try on the Ulavacharu Guddu Biryani (Egg Special), I got the same spice level (hot) but seems much more mild than last time. Still unequivocally delicious bursts of flavor in every bite, so not a complaint. But I'm not British and I come for the heat, I want the spice. Ravi's used to be my favorite until they started toning down their spice level exponentially to the point it wasn't spicy at all, a disgusting waste of good food and unworthy of the price. Please don't pull a Ravi's and stay delicious. Godavari is now my #1 place, for good Indian flavor and heat, not to confused readers with that heavy cream stuff they serve at buffets and call curry,that stuff is more British than Indian."

"well the flavor was fantastic but the portion was under a lunch for one and paying that much I would want to be able to share it with one or two other people. there was a lot of bone there was a fair amount of meat for a miniature lunch portion but for entree far beneath the amount that should have been served. a lot of liquid quite a bit of rice and if you were to include the bone and they were big and you're starting to get near a single person's entree for around $16. The bread that came with it was broken up and in pieces rather than whole pancakes so you could scoop it up and eat it was impossible. I don't know who let this out the door but somebody was not considerate. the heat level was right flavor was great The portion so small I just consider it inconsiderate. The samosa lacked texture and flavor the crust was fantastic. once again a lot of possibility but some failures enough to be very disappointing. I really enjoyed the flavor of the sauce but mostly just liquid."

The vegetable balls in it were a great medium firm texture, a bit crumbly if you cut into it, and I think potato and cheese based. The sauce was smooth and creamy and just a touch tangy, perfect to go with naan or your choice of bread. This time I decided to go for the upgrade Chef-Naan and was not disappointed. It was huge, like literally one half was bigger than my head, and was worth the extra money! It was very balanced and filling on its own. Cons: would not order the following again: Chicken Tandoori as it was overcooked/dry, raita was inedible,a really off taste, tomatoe soup was too sweet with soggy, soggy bread in the soup. Poori was much too greasy and the Keema Naan bread had tasteless meat inside. Overall, would hesitate to order from here again, as too many of our favorites were off taste wise compared to the competiton over in Pleasant Ridge which is still our go to for delicious Indian cuisine."
