"I have loved dining at Siri for quite some time, but I recently hired them for live catering for my event, and they completely blew me away! We had a live dosa center and a live chaat center, and their team did a truly fantastic job.
I also have to give a special shoutout to the owner for saving the day. Just two days before the event, we hit a major hiccup when our venue informed us that vendors couldn't bring their own propane gas for liability reasons. I panicked, but when I called the restaurant, the owner was incredibly accommodating. He went completely out of his way to figure out how to make it work using the venue's existing gas range. Even though it wasn't his usual or ideal setup, he just made it happen flawlessly and without any complaints. I am so grateful for his flexibility and dedication!
Despite that last-minute hurdle, the execution was perfect. The quality of the dosas was absolutely amazing, and the chaat was just as great. What really stood out to me was their service. The way the food was served was perfect, and they genuinely took wonderful care of all our guests. Even with a hungry crowd, their speed and efficiency were top-notch, ensuring no one was left waiting long.
To top it all off, they are extremely reasonably priced for the incredible quality and service they provide. I can't say enough good things about this place. The Saag Paneer we had asked for spicy but it really wasn't spicy at all, though we still enjoyed it. I found the Murgh Sagwala to be too salty for my taste. I would have preferred it to be more spicy than salty, which I thought it would be from the description. The food was packaged very nicely in a paper bag and good containers, thank you for no styrofoam! Overall, I prefer spicier Indian food (guess I need to go to Devon for that) but I'd come back to order the crab curry again. If you prefer a more mild take on Indian food this place might be perfect for you though! "Urban Turban does not have authentic Punjabi food. I have ordered 3 varied things from them : Aloo paratha, chhole bhature and chicken 65. None of them were at par and definitely not worth the price.
The aloo paratha was shockingly more like a stuffed Kulcha, very evidently not made with 100% atta.
The chhole were flavorless. The Bhatura was ok
The chicken 65 was oily, wrong flavor profile and colored to be a hideous bright red. Their pictures are very misleading.
Urban Turban is going to be avoided by this Indian who has had Indian food in India. I'd suggest a culinary trip to India for the chefs if I may be so bold."
