"We have tried many different Indian food delivery options and are always left feeling disappointed in the quality or flavor. But this place is amazing and will be our new standby. Everything was delicious! Their naan and curries really stand out. The only miss were the pickled carrots. "An Indian friend said Try Anarbargh; it's the best place for Indian food Unfortunately wrong. They put peas in the eggplant, the okra is drowned by tomato, and the food was all vaguely sweet (even the eggplant, which I ordered medium, and it came with a respectable spice level). The masala chai is the world's biggest ripoff( $7 for 6 ounces?), and the mango lassi was fine. Not great. Ditto the chutneys. The raita was tasty. Maybe I should try other things next time but, overall, quite disappointing."

"Delicious food. Butter Chicken A la carte is excellently spiced and cooked perfectly. Chicken Samosa BoGo or any of the samosas are always a go-to, same as the Garlic Naan. I got chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and aloo gobi, with 2 veggie samosas. The samosa filling was mushy, but flavorful, and the wrap was the perfect consistency. The main dishes were flavored well and the meats were tender. I especially enjoyed the vindaloo. The "hot" level of spicy was enough, but not overpowering, though I will probably get medium next time. The Fresh Mint Chutney was tasty and delightful."

"I've been going to Flavor Of India for decades, since it was a reliable spot to hit up before a show at the Troubadour. While I miss the lovely patio at that location, I have to say that since they settled in at the Sunset location the quality of the food is now unbeatable. Some time in the past two or three years this has somehow become the best Indian place in town, reliably surpassing all of my former favorites.
