"The sandwich is really good, but it came with jus a little piece of chichen. Put that chincken in there. That's all. But overall, good."
"I usually get 2 pieces of chicken on this sandwich. this time I had 1 thin piece of chicken where I tasted mostly bread. the brioche bun was nowhere soft or toasted, chicken was soggy due to the 2 huge slices of tomato that overpowered it."

"The Chicken Makhani is fantastic. First time getting the Tandoori Chicken... also spot on and tender. We ordered spicy and perfect for us. Not overwhelming heat.. spicy with heat and flavor. Would definitely order again."
"The food was the worst Indian food I had in the US. Stale chicken, overflowing with oil, tasteless. I would never order from this place again. I ordered the platter which came with two over cooked oily samosas and chicken that must have been older than 2 days."

"At the time of this review, we've ordered from Neelam's twice. Food has been absolutely delicious every time. I don't normally eat Indian food, but Neelam's got me hooked and their food is fresh-tasting and high-quality. Great place!
Their Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special), Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhni), and both the vegetable and meat samosas are awesome!"
"I asked for medium spice and there was no spice at all :( so disappointed. The pieces of Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special) were so big I literally took two bites and gave it to someone else. & my naan was burnt :(((( Wouldn't order again."

"The Lamb Makhani (Butter Lamb) is astounding. The lamb is super tender and every bite is just a flavor bomb in your mouth. I also love that you can personalize the spice level, as I prefer it spicy and most places don't offer the choice when ordering online. Also love that when my food arrived (it was far so took a good chunk of time) it was piping hot! I will definitely order again."
"The Chicken Tikka Masala was awful, it was watered down as if they accidentally poured a lot of water into the dish. The sauce was extremely thin and flavorless, the chicken was dry. I tried my best but it was just pointless to chew on tough and tasteless food, I threw it in the trash sadly. Never in my life did I think I would say Indian food had No flavor, so disappointed in Begum.
The dish did not come with rice, I had to order it separately, which is normally not a problem, but the other two dishes ordered came with rice and the rice portion with those was twice the size of the tiny $7 side of rice!
The second worst dish was the Shrimp Coconut. This dish was also very thin / watered down. We did not have to throw this one away, but better quality was still expected.
I ordered from Begum years ago when a friend lived in Chatham, it was so very good. The sauces I remember were rich and flavorful, the meat was never tough.
After this experience, I can't trust to order from here again :/"

"The price is too high for the amount and quality of food. We used DoorDash all the time to get Indian food so it wasnt the distance the food traveled . The butter chicken was too salty and the flavor was closer to other dishes, not butter chicken.
Garlic naan was a bit on the smaller side and was hard and dry. There was a decent amount of garlic and the flavor wasnt bad. "

"The best Indian food in North Jersey and hands down best Palak Paneer period; my wife is a huge fan. My 14 year old twins are usually the ones asking for me to take this trip about 40 mins away; they love the Purani Delhi Ka Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and so much more. "Best Samosa Chaat in the world. Didnt specify spice level and it came somewhere between mild and medium. Excellent flavor. Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. Came with veggies which I like. Not overly creamy. "
"Good, but too spicy hot for us, and you can't ask for less hot when you order. We enjoy food with a kick, but not to that extent. And yes, we eat Indian food regularly, understanding that it can be hot if you can't request a milder level of spiciness.
The chaat was excellent. The chicken biryani was well-flavored, with a very generous amount of chicken, but the chicken had a strong flavor, even with all the spices. It was all dark meat, so you expect a strong flavor. This just seemed quite pronounced to us. We picked it out and just ate the rice. I wouldn't order that dish again, but I'd try other menu items based on the good overall flavor."

"I was intimidated by how expensive the dishes were but I took advantage of happy hour and I'm happy I did. "Idk where to start. Ok options, there's so many to choose from so you have your pick of the litter. Speed of service was great and time of arrival was accurate. Now for quality, omg the Chicken Tikka Masala was on point paired with the Garlic Naan. The portions I think reflect the price so no complaints there. Then the Gulab Jamun was the cherry on top. Anyone who likes donuts should definitely try it as a dessert. All in all great experience and will order here again!"
"Dear future self: The mild Tikka Masala is actually a medium on the upper border. It's almost too spicy but VERY tasty. However, there is not enough rice for two people to split an entree, so either order some extra rice or have some on hand. "

"Some of the best Indian food I've ever had! I got the Dhaba Special Samosa (so flavorful, perfect spice level, stayed crispy), Garlic Naan (a classic) and Paneer Tikka Masala because I am vegetarian and it was INCREDIBLE- so creamy & flavorful! I can't wait to try something new soon :-) also huge portions and great prices! "
"Butter chicken was tasty with a nice kick (even at a medium spice level). It's not advertised but it does come with white (basmati?) rice (that's good with the other food but had a slight metal taste by itself). Samosas were delicious-- savory & flakey. "The dal was AMAZING! Spicy, flavorful and creamy. That dish was the highlight. The Paneer Tikka was very good as well, although I would have liked more vegetables in the dish. Really disappointed with food as we are a big fan of A2b for North Indian cuisine inspite of its each of dishes being more expensive then other local restaurants, we never experienced quality being compromised.
This time it made us really question why did we order from A2b"

"First of all, their behavior with customers is incredibly charming. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The quality of their food is unbeatable. Their food is so good. It is clean and the price of their food is very low compared to other restaurants. You get a lot of food for a small amount of money.I request those of you who are reading these comments of mine to not just take my word for it, but to place an order and see for yourself, then you will understand how good the quality of the food is.I wish this restaurant a bright future. I believe if they continue this food quality then their restaurant will be profitable one day.I don't know who made my meal, but I want to thank him for giving me such a beautiful meal. Thank you again 💟"

"Both the Drunken Noodle (with some added spice) and the Coconut Lava Balls were very tasty. I would definitely order again."
"I have never had a bad meal here until tonight. It is usually great and fresh. I don't know if they have new owners or the cook. I ordered rice, pad Thai, dumplings. The rice was terrible. None of the containers were full, they were three quarter full. The meat was not fresh especially the pork just dry and terrible. And then they charged $55. $17 for the rice which was not fresh with dry pork and no seasonings. Very displeased."

"Salmon Tikka on lemon basmati rice is spiced perfectly. Cauliflower Marsala is spicy but flavorful.
Glad that I ordered the Roti to go with everthing!
Yes, they are not cheap, you get what you pay for! Delicately prepared delicious food, will eat in restaurant next time with a bottle of wine. "
"Do not order from this restaurant. It is double the price of anywhere else and portions are tiny, for 137 dollars a meal for 3 we ran out of rice for example. And the food is average quality with too much oil "

"They forgot the papadum. The mulligatawny had no taste at all. We ordered it mild and the Szechuan was extremely spicy. The aloo gobi had no taste. The korma was good but the portion was tiny. They only gave one large rice for three dishes. The naan was wet.
Very, very, very disappointing."

"Absolutely loved my Coconut Curry Shrimp. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Authentic Trinidadian flavor.... the food melts in your mouth. I will be ordering again.... soon!"
"The curry goat roti for $24.49 was not worth the price!! The meal was with only 4 small pieces of meat that had a lot of chipped bones in the gravy, plus there was a lot of potatoes that I didn't care for. It also came with a small scoop of pumpkin and channa.. considering how inexpensive pumpkin and channa is the serving size could have been better. Definitely a 2 out of 10 rating!!!"
