The chicken was moist and tender with a sweet, but not overpowering, flavor. The veggie fried rice was absolutely delicious and cooked to just the right texture, not mushy or undercooked. It had a mixture of vegetables, including chopped cabbage, water chestnuts, chopped baby corn, and a few other veggies. All cooked perfectly with good flavor. The spring roll was good, though it was the only item I had to put soy sauce on because the flavoring was extremely mild. The portions were quite big for small orders. "The food is filling, tasty, and inexpensive. Unfortunately it can also be a gamble. The portions are sometimes incredibly off. Sometimes to a negligent level. There have been times I've ordered X2 chow mein and had half a forkful of noodles and the rest be just lettuce. The same has happened to me with the sesame chicken where it was 90% vegetables and a few pieces of chicken. Sometimes it's in your favor and you get a lot more of the noodles and the chicken than the veggies. If the portions were more consistent this would be a four star review. It's happened enough for me to take off one star but not enough to remove more."
