"As always, my food from Lotus Pond was the BEST! No one can beat their WonTon soup. The wontons in the soup are nicely filled and cooked perfectly. They do not taste like breakfast sausage as many others do, and the wonton skins are not falling apart. Love their big fluffy dinner rolls! Their egg Egg Rolls are nice and crisp and you can see the shrimp inside, not just the bean sprouts. The vegetable Egg Foo Egg Foo Young Dinner is SO good! "Here are plenty of places to get a Greek Salad from in Detroit but This is my favorite place.
The lettuce is always crispy , plenty of feta , beets, olives and pepperonis:the dressing is light and acidic. I add gyro meat to my salad and there is always a generous portion for the upcharge.
All the things other places skimp on- they do not.
I guess the only thing I would say to make it better is if there were fresh dill in it as described. But I’m not complaining.
It’s also hard to get a decent salad late at night so I appreciate the hours they offer to deliver.
