"This is the best tasting indian food in san diego. it is more sophisticated than other restaurants. The tikka masala is fantastic. I've eaten at lots of other indian places and it just tastes better. I also like that there are traditional items that are different from normal American menus. I was introduced to Sambar Idli and it is DELICIOUS, highly recommend. It is enough for a meal. My only complaint is that the Papadum only comes with a few tiny pieces -- not enough to be worth $4, and the chutney is also a teeny tiny amount of 2 kinds - tamarind and mint cilantro, not worth $4. Butter Chicken Momo was a great portion size, and the combo of the juicy filling and the the sweet and savory curry was unreal.
Lamb Vindaloo was also a good portion sized and the meat was cooked until tender. It probably could use more seasoning or spice, but that is on us for not requesting for more.
Chana Tikka Masala was fantastic. Well-seasoned and full of chickpeas. A tad on the sweeter side.

"The hella vegan burrito is huge! Super tasty and is my favorite item. I like my chickpeas soft and Curry Up Now delivered! I think I will just get the hella vegan bowl next time though since I really don't next to carb load on top of rice and samosa lol. Also nowadays I find tortillas and naan very chewey which is why I wasn't a big fan of the naughty pizza, but the toppings were tasty.
