"Best Indian food in the Hudson Valley, maybe in the whole country! I've been eating at this restaurant since 2004 or 2005 when I first tried Indian food in the 7th grade.  Almost 20 years later, and the food here has always been wonderful. I can't name another restaurant that has been this wonderful this consistently. It should be noted this is a great resturant for vegetarians! The food is not only delicious but it is extremely affordable and the portion sizes are very generous. Try it for yourself, the food here never dissapoints. "

They also have an awesome host. I was picking my food up and he greeted me and let me know my food would be out in a couple minutes. He offered me Turkish tea (on the house!) and brought it out in a to-go cup for me to take in the car once my food was ready. While I sipped my tea and waited another customer came in to order food to go. The host helped the customer with figuring out what she wanted and since it was her first time, he gave her a dessert to take home and try, also on the house!

"The Food is decent. Portions are hefty, the food is pretty flavorful. I really only had 2 issues, I was in between 3 and 4 stars as a result. The price is a bit weird for what you get, it's a lot of filler. A LOT of filler. That's mostly ok, it's a decent bit of food, but it's mostly rice and salad. The real issue?
It's SO DRY. The salad is lightly dressed, the pita is cut into strips so you can't wrap the kebab in it, the rice is kinda dry (and honestly, bland), and there's this little ramekin of sauce that's supposed to salvage the whole thing. That ramekin is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
I'd probably give it 5 stars if it came with more sauce. As it is I'm about to whip up my own tzatziki to kinda bring this to life. Very heavily suggest asking for extra sauce. Mine's all gone and I still have half a pita and 42 pounds of rice to eat."
