"The Vegetarian Biryani was more like veg pulao. No basmati rice and they used some cheap rice. baingan Bharta didn't have the smoked flavor. Naan was very very basic and unappetizing. Punjabi Kadi was the only item that tasted semi decent.
With enough practice, some day they may be able to serve Indian food. But right now they are not ready. There are many better options for Indian food in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not one of them."

"The chilli chicken momos were the standout: perfectly pan-seared, tossed in a spicy-tangy sauce with just the right amount of heat and char. The jhol momos were a close second steamed dumplings swimming in a warm, tangy, sesame-peanut broth that’s comforting and packed with flavor. The fried rice and chowmein were great sides too smoky wok hei flavor, not greasy, and loaded with veggies and just enough sauce to coat every bite without getting soggy.
Portions are generous for the price, and the staff is fast and friendly even with a line. If you’re craving something different from the usual taco truck or bao spot, this is the move.

"I did not have the self restraint to take nice pictures before digging into the food, it just smelled too great. Rara is my favourite restaurant in the Peninsula right now. I order from here for when I miss home food or when there's a range of spice tolerances to cater to. The food is so flavorful without much "heat". The spice level is just chilli, again missing flavouring in the chicken. Not worth the price, but the restaurant discount made it acceptable. The plastic packaging was practically melting holding the hot curry, so please avoid if you're conscious about microplastic consumption.
Garlic Naan was alright but tad overpriced I feel.

"Wow! This is a new late-night joint on DoorDash in the San Jose area, and I have to say I'm super impressed. Prices were really reasonable (for reference, the photos I've included are for half portions of each dish). Everything tasted very fresh, despite me ordering at the crack of dawn right before they closed.
The Vegetarian Soup tasted like a mix of all the veggies and spices they used during the day-- and I mean this in the best way possible. It's delicious in an unexplainable way.
The Veg Momo were excellent - not greasy, but they do have a bit of a kick (spicy). Nothing I found overwhelming or unpleasant, but just wanted to give a heads up.
Schezwan Fried Rice was also very good, not oily, nice spice level, lots of veggies in it.
I think what I liked best was that I felt great after eating the food; nothing felt heavy or greasy or artery-clogging-y. Oh and also they wrapped everything really well, which is always a plus.

"I was charged a good amount of money for the order - especially the cost of the naan and the paneer. I had 4 pieces of naan for $8!! And that amount pictured of panner! That's ridiculous on two fronts. One down the audacity to charge the amount of money and give you that little paneer, second after eating that amount of food was still hungry, that was not nearly enough food for the price paid as a meal, it was like appetizer level quantities rather than entrée.
