Sometimes it's reasonable, but other times there's been lots of curry sauce, but few solid ingredients; lamb biriyani has been plenty of rice, but quite skimpy on lamb (and it's tougher than it used to be--possible cheaper cut). Would love to see them regain their old high quality."

The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. Only Shalimar gets that right char and tandoor Butter Naan which is completely gummy and needs to be toasted at home a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. Meh on the whole cuisine.
