"For context, before this review I was an infrequent user of DoorDash, and totally unfamiliar with The Burger Den. However, after a long day in the field that turned into a longer evening of paperwork in my hotel room, DoorDash and The Den were a high convenience, low expectation choice. To my pleasant surprise, I was totally blown away by both this evening! Here are some highlights…
1. Delivery. Crazy fast! I think the Dasher beat the estimate by 10-15 minutes. Bravo!
2. Order. I had the Vibe with Shrooms with standard Wavy Fries. Since order came from > 5 miles (which could take 3 days in LA!), I had resigned myself to the usual soggy, delivery fries. Instead, I was greeted by the waft of HOT, CRISPY slabs of perfectly seasoned potato goodness, and ample ketchup packets to go with.
Let’s talk burger... Patty. PERFECT cook and temp. Brioche bun. Soft, sweet, and on point. Shrooms and onions. Sautéed and portioned with finesse that usually doesn’t come wrapped in foil and served in a cardboard box. Last stop, cheese. Folks, the cheese was so hot and stringy that it got caught in my beard! (Yes, I'm saving it for later. Gross, I know, but I gotta be me, and the cheese was sooo gooood!).
3. Surprise of the evening. I almost fell over when I realized that The Burger Den is a virtual brand of Denny’s?!? Before today, I wouldn't think Denny's capable of the best gastropub-esque burger I've had in years! Truly, I’m impressed, and I’ll be back!

The Combo For Two is thee best. It's an incredible value and gets you some of everything. The Garlic Naan arrives so hit and garlicky. We adore the Vegetable Samosa (2pcs) - they aren't dry or crumbly or oily. Really flavorful. The Chicken Tikka Masala is some of the best I've ever had. My husband loves the josh rogan and gets it as spicy as he can. Mango Lassi is a big hit and everyone wants one. The Indian Tea is hot chai and really comforting. It's not sweetened so we can have it 100% to our liking. :)"
