"This place seriously puts their heart into their Indian cooking. Instead of just a little snack-sized portion, they serve a proper, filling meal. They even brought back my husband’s love for samosas after we’d had a string of disappointing ones elsewhere. "Had the "Hot" Lamb Vindaloo. I can confirm it is as hot as the Chicken Vindaloo I ordered last time.
Bought some Garlic Naan this time to sop it up and help me get through it but I could still only manage about half the curry before my stomach said that was enough. The Garlic Naan does not travel amazingly in a foil packet (gets sweaty) but it was a welcome addition to help me get through the Lamb Vindaloo

"this has got to be THE WORST indian I've ever had......I asked for medium hot but the curry's were super mild just like gravy......no taste at all of any spices or herbs......my Malai Prawn only had 6 small prawns which is a complete rip off for the price and the Chilli Garlic Cheese Naan only tastes of cheese no garlic or chilli in there.......VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! What this restaurant did, I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
They didn’t just add a little extra. They gave me a full extra serving of rice and butter chicken, a whole additional meal completely free. And not just that, they left a handwritten note from the owner, something real, something kind. That hit me deep.
The food itself was unreal. The butter chicken was insane, rich, full of flavour, like it was cooked with care. The rice was perfectly done. It tasted like home when I needed it most.
But it wasn’t just the food. It was the gesture. The compassion. In a world that can feel cold and distant, they didn’t just feed me, they reminded me that humanity still exists. That someone can show love to a stranger without needing to know their story.
To whoever packed that order, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You made a difference tonight in a way I’ll never forget. What you did might’ve seemed small, but to me, it meant everything."
"This is our second time ordering from turban. First time was good, but this time, not so much.
- the pappadums smelled of " freezer burn".
- the "samosas" were like generic triangular spring rolls you get from the supermarket
- the vindaloo sauce was thin, and the lamb was not even mixed in, just sitting on top. No where near as tasty as last time we ordered
- the butter chicken was similar, chicken and sauce not mixed, and tasted nothing like a good butter chicken.
Have to say the naan was good, but overall a bust for an almost $100 indian meal."

It was about 90% noodles! then just a few pieces of veg and faux meat protein, and barely any sauce. The sauce was so watered down that it didn't even stick to the noodles.
