Now the food! The food here is incredible. The Falafel over Rice(vegetarian) was SO fresh. The falafel was flavorful and arrived hot, as was the rice. They offer different sides; I ordered it with salad and hummus. Delicious! The platter was generous and I had leftovers for later. The salad was made with lettuce, cabbage, chickpeas, cucumbers, onion, and tomato. Yum! I had the traditional white sauce on the salad and falafel. I also ordered half a pita to eat my hummus with. Next time I'll order a whole. There was enough hummus for a whole pita (which was warm, soft, and fresh).

"Second try on the Ulavacharu Guddu Biryani (Egg Special), I got the same spice level (hot) but seems much more mild than last time. Still unequivocally delicious bursts of flavor in every bite, so not a complaint. But I'm not British and I come for the heat, I want the spice. Ravi's used to be my favorite until they started toning down their spice level exponentially to the point it wasn't spicy at all, a disgusting waste of good food and unworthy of the price. Please don't pull a Ravi's and stay delicious. Godavari is now my #1 place, for good Indian flavor and heat, not to confused readers with that heavy cream stuff they serve at buffets and call curry,that stuff is more British than Indian."

"The food came piping hot which is how I like it. They packaged it well, the salads did leak a little despite their efforts however they were filled to the max with food in the container whichi appreciate!
The lamb biriyani is delicious with juicy soft chunks of lamb that have been marinated and cooked perfectly. I got a spice level 3 or medium for all the food and it was as expected. I requested no peas and also had a special request for the chicken curry which were both followed through! The curry was also good and even better with garlic naan to dip. I enjoyed the daal /lentil soup especially since you can request a spice level. All the salads I ordered were fresh and tasty; the chicken salad wasn't what I expected but my mistake and it tasted good but im saving this for lunch tomorrow (I was thinking spreadable chicken salad and it was a salad with chicken).
Overall im happy with everything received, great service with special requests which i'm glad they kept this field open while ordering. Many restaurants chose to not take special requests and it makes it difficult with food sensitivities. We will be ordering again :) "

"This place always manages to dish out delicious and authentic Nepali meals. I high recommend any of the Thalis as it's a great amount of food for a very good price, as well as a sublime taste. I am a regular at this point and Navi's Hot Spot is a hidden gem. My favorite item is the Chicken & Lamb Over Rice or any variation of that, but I haven't found something I didn't thoroughly enjoy. My husband is on a Zinger Burger kick - lucky for me he can't finish it all so I get to enjoy some of that as well. I have no idea how he keeps his chicken for his Zinger Burger so juicy and the breading so crunchy, but lordy he has it down to a science.
Navi cares about the quality, freshness, and flavor of his food and it shows. I love his food so much I spread the word when I can. I enjoy seeing people's faces light up when they have it for the first time.
