"Ever dish is appetizing . I only finished part of the dish of curry chicken . I'm a little let down because I was expecting the curry chicken to have a lot more meat in the food container that it was in but the flavor of the chicken juices is so wonderful that I can already tell I'll be returning soon . Keun jib Galbi Tang 큰집 갈비탕 was also not as good as the first tme, it was mostly onion and ccabbage (which was new) and it didn't have the glass noodles. the meat was also weirdly cut with random sharp bone pieces attached to the meat. the KimChi Jjigae김치찌개 was mostly kimchi and too spicy to be enjoyed. also, there wasn't even pork belly in it, it was another cut of meat. we were very disappointed since we had such a great experience the first time. some consistency will be good"

"We used to order from Kogiya a lot, especially during Covid and really enjoyed it. But the quality for take out seems to have gone down. The Chadol Bakgi was pretty dry. Even though I ordered two orders of meat, I only got one set of Banchan and the containers were half full. I also ordered two orders of the Ssamjang, and the containers were tiny and only half full!
It's going to be hard justifying ordering from Kogiya again soon given all the KBBQ options in the area. I would still go in person though."

"TheSautéed Steak Chunk with Black Pepper Sauce didn't have sauce, just a coating of pepper and other spices. The dish was superb - very tender and full of flavor. The Orange Duck (1/2) was also delicious - the sauce came separately so the duck stayed crisp. The beef Short Rib with Black Pepper appetizer was juicy and surprisingly tender. We got a huge container of nice steamed rice. All were good portions. The soy Soy Sauce Chicken is always excellent, as are the pork buns.
We will definitely be ordering again. We are so happy they are now available to us in DC."

"Disappointed that time. Went and ordered takeout once months ago and it was great - the angry noodles or something? Wasn't on the online menu this time, which was already disappointing- no noddles?? Then I paid extra for the fried rice and salad - rice so minimal it shouldn't have been charged extra and salad was pretty pathetic and dry. The food was pretty disappointing compared to expectations, the Chick'n Fingers were not hot when arrived so I heated them up in the air fryer and texture became to hard and chewy (maybe my fault but don't recommend for delivery). And the Korean bbq sauce just isn't very good and indeed mainly salty. The General's Chick'n was lackluster, not enough sauce, broccoli not charred/too undercooked, and no sauce on the broccoli or peppers -- just overpriced for the amount and quality of food. Will maybe give this place one more try, but only with a promo becuase it's pricy for what you get in my opinion. 3 stars is generous since my first experience was better than this by far. "
