"Disappointed: bland & lacking flavor balance
Drunken Noodles had little flavor. Vegetables were mostly uncooked and very difficult to chew, which I guess is a creative choice. As well, cuts of mushrooms that were impossible to chew, quite disappointing.
I ordered spring rolls from the vegetarian menu selection and I got pork and shrimp rolls :/ So those were inedible.
The Thai iced tea was 1) small for 7.75, not good value for TEA! 2) even tasted watered down, barely any cream at the bottom to mix in with the tea. Super disappointing.
The mango sticky rice was ok. Rice was mostly flavorless. The sauce was super sweet, no salty balance. The mango was also not very good. Sweet but not the sour balance. It was not a good texture either. Usually a restaurant will not serve mango sticky rice if the mangos are not juicy and ripe. This one was not ideal.
All in all I would neither order from Doi Moi, nor visit them in person, again."

"All of the dishes were tasty and the vegetables nor the herbs were overcooked. The Gỏi Cuốn - Fresh Spring Rolls tasted fresh and flavorful even without the dipping nuoc Cham sauce. The vegan pho was also tasty. The tofu in tomato sauce wasn't my favorite flavor but it was still made well although some of the greens were showing signs (spots and yellowing) of going bad and should have been removed before cooking them. "Banh Mi Oi absolutely nails what a great bánh mì should be. The flavor balance is incredible — savory, fresh, bright, and packed with layers of texture in every bite. The bread deserves special mention: perfectly crisp on the outside with that soft, airy interior that so many places miss. You can tell the ingredients are high quality too, from the fresh herbs and pickled veggies to the meats and pâté. Nothing tastes cheap or rushed.
Their iced coffee is also outstanding — strong, smooth, and sweet without going overboard. It pairs perfectly with the sandwiches.
My only minor critique is the price. It’s a little expensive for bánh mì, but honestly it’s pretty much on par with the area these days, and the quality makes it easier to justify. Definitely one of the better bánh mì spots around."

" Springtime Roll Solstice - spring rolls were good and hit the spot. I assume the rest is ment to be tost together in some kind of noodle salad? And ment to justify the $20 charge for 5 rolls? There is half a container on noodles and the other half filled with vegetables so in that sence there is a large amout of food. The disappointing thing was that the rolls were placed on topof the noodles and veggies making half of each side soggy instead of crunchy.
Chicken Pho-rtune - can be sum up by saying "bland" If youre sick or have a picky eater this may be just what you need but all the flavor comes from adding sriracha, oyster sauce, or salt even. The noodles and chicken are in a separate bowl from the broth which is not inmy helpful for dividing portions but keeps the noodles from getting mushy. The noodles do stick to hard but as soonas you ad the broth they easily start separating on their own without any effort. I added the egg and I shouldve known better since it was hard instead of runny. "

Instead of a full chicken breast, the soup only contained small scraps of chicken. "I ordered through DoorDash and had a very disappointing experience. The grilled pork vermicelli (bún thịt nướng) x1 was poorly made—the pork was burnt, blackened, and tasted bitter. It was dry and not enjoyable at all. The fish sauce was also very bland and lacked flavor.
The broken rice with pork (cơm sườn) x2 was not much better. The shredded pork skin (bì) was soggy and slightly slimy, as if it wasn’t fresh, which made it very unappetizing.

"We ordered two of the Pho Supreme. It was just okay overall. The soup had good flavor and the noodles were cooked just right for takeout. However, we were displeased with the lack of garnishes—don't expect the usual generous bag of bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeños you get from traditional pho spots. The meat portions were also plentiful in some ways (e.g., the eyeround and brisket) but small in others (e.g., there was only one piece of oxtail in each order, and one was incredibly tiny). The "to go" packaging was decent, but like other reviewers, we experienced some leaking of soup. I think this is due to the use of compostable lids - fair tradeoff all things considered."
